StarLink Backup Wireless Radios connect simply between any alarm control panel and its telephone connection. Whenever the traditional telephone line connection (telco) fails, the SL1 radio wirelessly connects directly and expeditiously to the GSM network to transmit the alarm signal to any central monitoring station (designated at installation). To ensure ongoing dependability, the SL1 automatically sends a daily test signal to the network operations center (NOC); any failure to check-in is reported to the central station.
